I am a lifelong film fanatic with a particular affection for films of the silent era.  In reality, I am an equal opportunity film buff, I love films of the Golden Age of Hollywood and beyond. From George Melies to Robert Wise!  I have collected film memorabilia with regard to Rudolph Valentino for over forty(!) years. A portion of this collection of rare photos is shared in my book Rudolph Valentino The Silent Idol, His Life in Photographs. 
I am currently researching and writing my second book on Rudolph Valentino relating to his film career. It is slow work, but I hope to finish it before 2020.  My retirement project will be a biography of silent film star Dorothy Gish.
In my day job I work in the field of intellectual property. I make my home in San Francisco and am ruled by a sometimes benevolent cat named Tango.
